couple & Family therapy

based in Atlanta Georgia

have you been feeling out of harmony or disconnected from each other?

Many times we repeat and replay old ineffective patterns and end up feeling more distance from those we love.

We work with couples and families experiencing:

  • strained communication

  • infidelity

  • sexual intimacy struggles

  • high conflict relationships

  • parenting conflicts

  • family members with high risk behaviors

  • blended family challenges

  • life transitions

You deserve connection, ease and joy with your loved ones— we can help guide you there

We blend structured, evidence-based approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for high conflict couples and families along with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to build secure attachment. We’ll walk you through understanding your cycle of communication and facilitate ways of cutting to the heart of the matter and getting back into harmony.

Imagine What your relationship Could Look Like on the Other Side

  • Rebuild trust and come back into harmony

  • Increase understanding and communicate more effectively

  • Work to slow down or stop the cycle that keeps couples stuck

  • Begin to make your relationship a place of safety and peace

  • When we are out of sync in our relationship, it can take a toll on all aspects of our well-being. Most couples come to Couple Therapy years after when it would be beneficial —don’t wait longer to regain the understanding and connection you need.

  • We use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) which draws from attachment theory to promote secure attachment and connection. We also use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help direct implement effective ways of communicating and regulating.

  • Family Therapy can involve all participants that are willing or it can be just a few. It will be a mix of meeting with people individually to get an understanding of how they’ve been impacted, and then going forward with dyads or the whole family as needed. It can look like whatever is needed to be transparent and effective!

  • No! There is very little benefit in blame in any relationship. The clinician’s goal will not be to figure out who is right, rather, it will be to facilitate deep understanding, change and connection.

  • Yes! For Couple Therapy, we ask that you are both present in one room when possible.

  • We do our best to match new clients quickly — reach out today to begin.

  • How Much:

Our Couple/Family therapy sessions range from $180 to $260 per 50-minute session depending on the clinician’s rate—we also offer limited sessions with our clinical interns at a rate of $100 or less in order to better serve a wider range of financial need. We are out-of-network but can provide superbills for reimbursement.

  • How Often:

It can be tough to coordinate everyone’s schedules in Couple/Family Therapy however, we typically recommend meeting once per week at first. Once a rhythm is established, we can vary the frequency as needed.

  • How Long:

While every journey is different, many couples and families begin seeing progress within 6–12 weeks. Longer-term support is also available.
